Mental Health

Mental health includes our emotional, psychological and social well-being. It affects how we think, feel, act as well as how we handle stress, relate to others, and make healthy choices. It is one of the main pillars in achieving overall health. The Mental health journey at Expedition Wellness is determined by the individual needs of each client. Mental health difficulties can impact all parts of a person’s life. With support and learning skills, we hope to help achieve mental wellness. Let’s get started!
 

 

Complimentary Consultation

Each journey will begin with a complimentary 30 min consultation with our mental health specialist to analyze and identify areas of need and discuss possible intervention options.


 

Intake session

This is a 45 minute session focused on gathering information. You will start by taking a complete Mental Health Assessment . After reviewing the results,  you will work together with your mental health specialist to decide what intervention services will be best suited for you.

 

Follow up sessions

These are 30 minute sessions focused on the application of our Individualized Intervention services. These intervention services include evidence based strategies that are meant to address different mental health difficulties that individuals may be experiencing. They are aimed to provide the individual with support strategies to combat mental health symptoms.

I believe mental wellness is one of the most important aspects of achieving overall wellness! While mental health has been a hot topic in recent years, I have found that most individuals are not exactly sure what to do when they or loved ones face mental health symptoms. I make it a goal to help you learn what evidence based mental health strategies work best for you and provide you support as you need it. With this education and support, I hope you achieve a fulfilling, healthy life.
